Mike Krieger's favorite question is "How would we find out?" Not "I think this will work" or "users probably want this." Just... how would we actually know?

Your kid announces they hate grilled cheese now. You panic. Grilled cheese is the entire food pyramid in your house. You start Googling "toddler nutrition alternatives" at 11 PM.

Or you could make grilled cheese tomorrow.

Turns out they'll eat it. They always eat it. Yesterday they hated it because a bird looked at them wrong or the sun was in Sagittarius or whatever. You almost restructured your entire grocery strategy based on a sample size of one bad mood.

"How would we find out?" Just... try the thing. Make the grilled cheese. Offer the broccoli again. See if they actually hate the car seat or just hated it that one Tuesday.

You're not building the Sistine Chapel here. You're making lunch. Run the experiment.
