The kid isn't confused. They're optimizing for a dysfunctional org where half the leadership greenlight what the other half rejected. Get alignment from the top first. Otherwise you're one person with a vision while everyone else runs a shadow roadmap where cookies are vegetables and bedtime is a distributed consensus protocol.
