Fish Where the Fish Are

Inspired by Andrew Wilkinson episode

With your kid, you're constantly fishing in overfished waters. Every parent on Earth is battling vegetables at dinner. Your toddler knows this. They've studied the playbook. That's their home turf where they've built emotional fortifications out of rejected broccoli.

But getting them excited about setting the table? Helping load the washing machine? Watering plants like they're conducting a NASA mission? These are your blue oceans. They desperately want responsibility and autonomy, just not the specific responsibilities you keep pitching.

Find the weird tasks they'll actually do. Stop exhausting yourself storming the broccoli fortress. There's a kid over here who will obsessively organize all your Tupperware by size if you just let them.
