Find What Works Through Testing
Inspired by Adam Grenier episode
Adam Grenier's growth playbook—try things, see what works, double down—is basically parenting. Not every method works for every kid.
There's no secret formula for parenting. It's the same as building a business: try something, fail spectacularly, pretend you meant to do that.
Your kid won't sleep? You Google "sleep training" and download four apps. One says gentle. One says cry-it-out. One says co-sleep. You're basically running A/B tests on your own sanity. You try the gentle approach—eight hours of rocking, your arm is numb, the baby's awake. Switch to firm boundaries. Kid screams. Neighbors knock. You switch to co-sleeping. Now nobody sleeps because there's a tiny starfish in your bed.
That's not failure. That's your data.
Same in business. Email doesn't work? Try content. Content's a ghost town? Try partnerships. Partnerships are a handshake and a dream? Try paid ads. You're discovering what moves the needle with your specific audience.
The trick isn't finding the magic method. It's testing until something sticks, then doing that one thing obsessively. Most people give up at test three. You gotta hit test seventeen.
Your job is to get uncomfortable and stay there until something works.
